Is a Puma tow bar the same as an earlier Td5 model. The reason I ask is that on the Td5 I have it's a fully adjustable slider type but on my Puma it's fixed and I wanted to swop them around..Looked on Ebay and they seem to be sold as two different types ..Many thanks in advance. 04' 90 Td5 CSW..

I think the diagonal stays are different, from memory the puma chassis has welded brackets on it at the rear about 12" in from the back to which the diagonal supports bolt and the TD5 does not as they bolt directly through the chassis and so have longer diagnoal bars.
I may be wrong but I have had some fitting issues in the past that are at the back of my mind. that said im sure it was a simple fix. Pete |

According to all the part numbers I can find, it's the same from '98 onwards. As an example, THIS ONE ON EBAY is advertised for a tdci but the description says from '98 (TD5) onwards.
Edit: I've just realised that you're talking about 90's, which may be different to 110's Darren 110 USW BUILD THREAD - EXPEDITION TRAILER - 200tdi 90 BUILD THREAD - SANKEY TRAILER - IG@landroveranorak "You came in that thing? You're braver than I thought!" - Princess Leia |
