Yeah, I've tried it, but only to convert videos. I wasn't too happy with the loss of quality. Craig Rogers

Yes, pleased with my first video. I edited it with iMovie and then clicked on Share > Export Movie and exported it to my Movies folder in Finder, selecting the 1080P setting Then uploaded it from my MacBook to youtube, and as x-isle mentioned, it initially uploded in a lower quality, then 1080P appeared after a short while. The image quality when playing it on my TV seems better than youtube for some reason. Perhaps down to my MacBook screen? More extreme filming tomorrow, where I may encounter some killer seagulls. Who knows? |

Have you seen the GoPro film when the seagull pinches it? I expect that's what you mean

Yes I have actually I think theres a few of them which made me wonder if they were staged or not. But then if it is staged its rather an expensive way to make a youtube film with the risk of loosing your GoPro.
Thanks for the top class service with supplying my GoPro . Im a happy boy, but the wife really doesn't understand, she just gives me those sly digusted looks! |

Just noticed that when uploading direct from iMovie to youtube there is an option to select the higher 1080P setting . Guess I shouldnt have been in such a rush!

You'll probably find your tv has some sort of "upgrading" electronics. We had a Panasonic in our salon (before it was nicked ) playing YouTube playlists and the quality of even fairly low quality clips were way better. The replace, net will be even better apparently , when the insurance cough up for it.
