I really didn't need but it does look cool. As for that ac dc track, did you know the video was filmed in milnsbridge? You can just about (if you have good eyes) see one of my houses Ray

I just had the clever idea of trying the mic of my new head unit in the Mrs car (don't know why I didn't think of it before) she has a lower model of the same make so 5 mins pulling the stereo out plug my mic in and it's dead, I can hear people calling but no one can hear me so a brand new fully wrapped up stereo with a none working mic still it's not all bad as the chap I bought it off says he'll pay for a new one so hopefully it'll all be buttoned up and working in a few days Ray

Got the new mic for the head unit so it's now fully working it's a good improvement over mrs's standard alpine xs unit. Ray

Did you do anything behind your door cards? I've scanned your thread but can't see anything? Greg

Hi Greg, I dynamated and closed cell foamed the inside of the front doors but my plan now is to replace all the doors so I didn't take them any further. Ray

My rear door threshold strip reall was looking terrible and as I'd already changed the the other four thresholds to stainless I decided it was time to take a trip to 4x4 overlander again while I had an hour to spare in halifax.
Old one Click image to enlarge As usual the kit came with all fixings and anti seize paste. Click image to enlarge Looks much smarter now but does show I need the door gas strut. That will have to wait until I've replaced the rear door though. I have found a contact that can supply me with perei svx led rear lights at a rather good saving on what everyone else is charging my set came through today. I decided on clear and red
Click image to enlarge I'll hopefully get them put in in the next couple of days if I get a minute. If anyone fanceys a set (clear or coloured) give me a shout and I'll get you a price Ray My build thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic17615.html |

I think so. I had clear and red with the bolt on bits ones but decided I wanted the svx ones instead. I just need some free time now but I'm quite busy this week Ray
