Emigrate to where? What country is immune to the global economic crisis? All you can do as an individual is protect yourself from it by not running up massive debt and not buying beyond your means. When I moved into this house back in 2000 I was offered a ridiculously huge mortgage that I had no chance of paying back, I refused it because I knew it'd send me down the plug home. Too many greedy people said yes and it up the wall in a narrow minded quick fix way.

No countries are immune to it, but some countries are in a better position to handle it:
Australia: 100 billion (same we spend on NHS). About 20% GDP Canada: Less than 400 billion. About 30% Other info is here: http://www.economicshelp.org/blog/334/uk-e...onal-debt/ Glyn |

Ahh yes, Australia. Kept afloat, by basically, the Mining + Gas in/off Western Australia. Whoever heard of a country being being dependent on its oil+gas reserves for tax revenue? Oh, wait... Real trucks don't have spark plugs |

If there's less money around...where has it gone?
Surely it's still there, but some are hanging onto theirs (i.e. not spending) and other money has been re-destributed. China, India & Korea have growth economies. China now has 10.6% of the world's Billionnaires India now has 4.5% of the world's Billionnaires More people end up on the dole in Britain, Europe & America, because our companies outsource work to India, China & Korea, we buy their goods, and leave home-grown stuff on the shelf. How much of our "recession" is caused by the developed countries sending cash to India/Korea/China????? Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's) |
