Its really easy to do without a puller. Undo the nut all the way then put it back on at least one turn, put your hand in the 3&9 o'clock positions then just pull side to side. It will come off really easily.

Make sure you have the nut on at least a turn or so and hit it repeatedly.

Side to side and it will come off.

Don't pull it!

Well that sounds scary!

Why not pull it?

and just to clarify, put the nut back on and whack the steering column?

and when you say side to side, do you mean hit the column sideways?

Put the nut back on and whack the sides of the steering wheel, it works - trust me!

can't wait to see how this turns out.....just one black eye perhaps ?

what difference would putting the nut back on do in getting the wheel off?

I'm all excited now and can't wait to see what happens. Very Happy

So I'm hitting the wheel on the sides/rim where your hands go?

Side to side, door to door (not pull and push front to back)

& I'm going to need safety goggles and a gum shield?

side to side, pulling your hands towards your chest, left then right, then both together, then swear and it should come right off! Laughing
