Now we all like to purchase 'bling' for our Land Rovers and quite often need to 'justify' our purchases! (Well some of us do anyway).
To provide other members with a functional pool of excuses why not list the accessory you purchased and the justification used here????? Snorkel one would be handy about now!!!! If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

Snorkel: It looks the dog's doodahs
Rear window guards: I'm forever filling the LR up with s*it. It was only a matter of time before something either rubbed the rear heating element off or poked the window out. I can now also leave the rear windows open when parked up in this hot weather - keeps my son cool when he gets in One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS + New Defender 110 First Edition |

I had to buy those 5 ZU rims this morning as they are going to put VAT up in July
Now all I have to do is find some tyres before the VAT increases Bob |

Not a bad one! Not sure if mine would 'swallow it' metaphorically speaking as she's a bit savvy when it comes to finances. Hope they're not Ice Cream Van Zus! A set of Coopers or KM2s will sort 'em out! You could use the Ice Cream Van bit as an excuse to buy some big boots! 16 * 7 antracites. Going to fit 265*75*16 GG AT2's or BFG AT2's - with the road mileage I do MT's will probably drive me mad with the noise Tried all my local dealers for Cooper ST's (not STT's) and they say they can't get them ?? Excuse number two now comes into play - 'of course dear, the turning circle will be so much better with the extra 11mm offset on each side and the steering stops adjusted etc - no problems in car parks now' Bob |

Works for me ... my doris never questions a thing when it involves Landies ... she's learnt over the years Guns and Landrovers .... anything else is irrelevant. |
