ACCESSORY EXCUSES!
Now we all like to purchase 'bling' for our Land Rovers and quite often need to 'justify' our purchases! (Well some of us do anyway).

To provide other members with a functional pool of excuses why not list the accessory you purchased and the justification used here?????

Snorkel one would be handy about now!!!! Dog Thumbs Up Dog If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!!

The air higher up is cooler and cleaner making your engine run more efficiently. This means your engine will last longer and be more reliable Wink .

How is that?

rear bumperettes: Defender has no rear bumper and it is likely to smash the tail lights
front diff guard: thin cover
lift to fit bigger tires: improve turning to park
diff locker: Im a bad driver and getting old so Im too lazy to shovel out the rig. High-lift jack: just in case you find someone to do the work for you.
NAS lights: safer
chequer plate: the dealer doesn`t scratch wing tops
EGR blanking: shhhhhh
Upgraded radio/speakers: for the kids Puma 110" SW

Snorkel: It looks the dog's doodahs

Rear window guards: I'm forever filling the LR up with s*it. It was only a matter of time before something either rubbed the rear heating element off or poked the window out. I can now also leave the rear windows open when parked up in this hot weather - keeps my son cool when he gets in Thumbs Up One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS

Not a bad one! Not sure if mine would 'swallow it' Embarassed metaphorically speaking as she's a bit savvy when it comes to finances.

Hope they're not Ice Cream Van Zus! A set of Coopers or KM2s will sort 'em out! Rolling with laughter

You could use the Ice Cream Van bit as an excuse to buy some big boots! Dog Thumbs Up Dog If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

16 * 7 antracites. Going to fit 265*75*16 GG AT2's or BFG AT2's - with the road mileage I do MT's will probably drive me mad with the noise Laughing

Tried all my local dealers for Cooper ST's (not STT's) and they say they can't get them ??

Excuse number two now comes into play - 'of course dear, the turning circle will be so much better with the extra 11mm offset on each side and the steering stops adjusted etc - no problems in car parks now' Rolling Eyes
