There may be a couple of 10mm bolts that you can undo if you can get to them, take the window off the runner and push it up...wedge it in.
If you've gone to the length of taking the door card off, you might as well look at the wiring and cut n twist the wire until doing it properly? |

The problem is probably in a wire between door and the body, in the hinge gap. Pull the rubber sheath of (Ooh Matron) and fiddle with the wires whilst pressing the up button.

If you've got the door panel off, 12V + applied to RED, Ground (0V) on BLUE should power the motor up.

All sorted, blue wire was severely chaffed between door and post. Thanks all
