""clunking noise and vibrations when slowing down/stopping, loud clutch""

Ask for a new clutch it sounds like the compression springs.

Sorry to say we have a 110 county and it does it all the time we have to lock and unlock with the key fob and then it usual starts .
Hope this help

Thank you. Unfortuntatelly it doesn't work in my case. I can lock and unlock it numerous times or leave it locked for couple of days but it wouldn't start util I'd pull 30 Amp fuse or disconnect the battery. Confused

I told them about the clutch like 10 times but they are reluctant and wish to replace the transfer case first... Whistle

Humm,

Strange indeed. If you have doubts about the cause, IMHO I would start with the cheaper part and if that fails to solve the issue I will change the expensive one. I suposse that the clutch is cheaper than the transfer case. How the dealer would explain to LR service this?

Cheers Eduardo

No, I think they should replace both. Gear whine is most likely caused by the transfer case, but not the clutch noise. We'll see... Neutral
