South Africa 2009 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Chawton White
What is a safe VIN No:?
hi guys Im about to take ownership of my second Puma 90. My first had every conceivable issue. I drove it for a year (36000 km) and complained bitterly during this time to LR. Eventually the dealership gave me full retail value and LR SA came to the party by paying in R 35 000 (£2645). I had to pay a difference of R 30 000.00 (£2267) for a brand new one and with a tiny bit more winging I also got the dealer to throw in a set of 265/75/16 BFG A/T tyres. BUT................am I correct to believe that that I should be weary about the VIN no of the vehicle i.e. anything pre 8A will not have had all the updated modifications. What VIN No would be a safe option??? Collecting Wednesday next week. Land Rover's don't leak oil, they simply mark their territory!
