It uses an 1" dia solid pin through the jacking point that has a large nut on the back (36mm across flats ) plus 4No M10 bolts that hold the pivot end on the cross member. The production version will have a jacking point on the pivot if that makes sense,
All the holes it uses are factory holes, as for weight i don`t know as i have`nt weighed it. But i can say it is very strong as it will support me standing on it in its open position when packing the roof tent up |

Typical !
As Exmoor have not released the tonneau cover yet it is not much of a problem - just means I can get less in the back when I go to the tip ! Bob |

You have got competition ! If you have not seen it already, in LRM this month there is an article on the new military FRR puma and guess what, it is fitted with a chassis mounted swing away spare wheel carrier ! I bet they won't sell it to the general public ! Bob |

Looking at the pictures of the LR version it looks nowhere as good as your carrier, in fact it almost looks like a normal after market carrier with the top part removed and the bottom beefed up a bit. Another interesting thing in the article is it states that there have been improvements to the seating for tall drivers. Guess what,Exmoor have just announced multiple adjustment seat carriers. They are not on the web yet but are advertised in the mag. Bob |

Good news guys, just had a call from the company lined up to manufacture the wheel carrier. I will be seeing them the 1st week of sept to finalise the design and then the 1st batch should be ready by the end of sept
The whole carrier will be passive Zinc plated then powder coated black |

Bob, I have just got one from all wheel trim- I ordered it about 6 weeks ago but it took UPS 4 week to find the farm!!. I am happy with it- you will have to get the tonnau bar too t stop it collecting water. I can get a picture of it if you want. More tha worth the £170ish aid for it. Glyn |
