Fitting New Tyres
Hi All,

I have always replaced all four tyres on my Defenders. All of my current tyres except 1 have about 50% life left on them.
The one tyre is wearing faster than the others and I have also had 3 punctures in that same tyre which I have never had on any other BFG AT tyre.

Is it ok to change two tyres on one axel of a Defender or should I get 4 new tyres?

Thank you

Fine to change an axle pair, just stick to same pattern/size as the other axle!! Andy

That's a very daft advert. The vehicle summary tab gives the engine size as 1905cc and then the text at the bottom states 'The data displayed above details the usual specification of the most recent model of this vehicle.' Even if it was data for a standard vehicle, how does a Defender have an engine size of 1.9? Rolling Eyes

The dimensions page is worth a giggle too.
