I want to put a worklight on to the Puma but need some information.
Is there a pre-existing harness on passenger's side rear to plug in to? What's the best way to run a lead from the gutter into the vehicle? If anyone has a copy of the LR fitting instructions for the OEM Worklight that would probably answer all my questions. I don't see the point in buying a genuine one though. I don't know if it's the same on the Puma as the TD5 but the auxilliary connector is on the drivers side in the wiring loom for the rear brake light, behind the speaker panel. It is a white twin female lucas connector with the conductors at 90° to each other and is fused in the panel by the gear lever (under the steering wheel in your case). I was thinking about fitting a light to mine and was just going to drill a hole in the rear roof panel and use a water proof gland. The kind sparkies use on electrical panels etc. These come in all different sizes and are theoretically the right thing for the job. Regards, Ray Land Rovers are an addiction. Thanks Ray, haven't had that panel off yet, but I knew there was a spare cable on one side somewhere. I asked about the install as the water tight grommet was the only thing I could think off but thought there may be another way that didn't require drilling another hole. 110 2.4TDCi

Mine comes threw the rear roof down the back wall under the side window, over the two passenger windows and then down into the dash.. My problem is that the passenger side from door rubber gasket doesn't fit well, and I always have to push it back up into the top of the door, it closes poorly and you can hear the outside very bad.. 2008 110 2.4 tdci csw

I drilled a small hole and then put a rubber grommet in and passed the cable through there. The hole is in roof but just above the gutter so unless you are 7ft tall you don't even see it.

you have the steering wheel on the left, "foz.in.oz" on the right....... see behind the right rear speaker panel...... |

I guess in a truck cab the connector is likely to be in the box that covers the back of the rear light cluster? Planning on fitting two lamps on the TC - one an auxilliary reverse lamp and one a switched work lamp.
