I'm travelling 2500km just to get there! Banging Head That is not an option! Shocked I've got my vacation scheduled to and around Billing! You better get some sun and send the rain away! After all we're in July allready! Evil or Very Mad Beacause I'm not going to do 5500km to come back without seeing Billing! Regards
Joao

That weather report is neither here not there as far as Billing it concerned. It is in the Midlands - therefore it MAY get the dry weather coming to the south or it MAY get the wet weather of the north!!

As far as i can make out Live Promotions ate in conflab with the Billing ground owners and tomorrow should give us all the answers we want.

I also here through the grape vine that the local farmer next door has offered his fields for the show as his are still dry and not flodded.

I have the feeling if its cancled I may still go and set up in the farmers field next door Smile

Oh, and optimism always brings the sun out Wink Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...

Thanks! More pics in my gallery - before, during and after various builds and mods!!

As for optimism, this little poem has stuck with me since school

The Optimist
D H Lawrence

The optimist builds himself safe inside a cell
and paints the inside walls sky-blue
and blocks up the door
and says he's in heaven.

Very Happy

and the pessimist leaves the cell walls grey, and cold, and hangs himself, like all great poets Laughing

p.s. love the subtlety of the lift and rollcage combination - looks ready for a smart safari Thumbs Up Tell someone you love them today because life is short.

Yep, it's a P&P external expedition cage, with extra side diagonals, extra roof cross and custom internal cross.
Just put the D4x4 winch bumper on yesterday with a goodwinch TDS 9.5 - not wired up yet and no rope, but getting there bit by bit !!

Yeah, when we rebuilt it we changed the old 300 Tdi tub for a Td5 one without the rear bulkhead, with the LR/Safety Devices genuine removal bar. To get the cross in right P&P replaced the bar with their own design which then formed the bottom half of the offset cross we wanted.
