hi, what size box did you use ? i am thinking of doing the same myself ,not particularly for height but a bit more reach would be good and if i could move the seat over a bit i think it would be a bit more comfortable . ALL THE BEST

It's some that I had floating around, it's around a 35mm ext 3mm steel box. You could use rectangular box section but is probably best to have the flats at least 35mm wide to aalow the existing seat rails some support. Mine were made with what I'd got to hand. If I make some for the passenger seat I might be tempted to swop the existing rails over to the passenger side after taking the tabs off and make a new set for the drivers side, this time using a deep channel with the tab steel welded across the two tops of channel with the flat on the bottom. I'd keep it around the 35mm or so as I've got quite used to the storage area under the seat, great for maps, wander lead for the winch, first aid case etc etc Whistle
