I can't guarantee anything myself but I would imagine it would show up on the LR system. Seeing as their systems need to detect all the details mostly faults admittedly but I would also imagine fueling details ect ect. Anyone having re-maps done are bound to have the company say that it isn't traceable as not to put doubt in your mind and say no. The only tuning that I can think of that likely wouldn't leave any evidence would be the likes of the PSI tuning box which is removable and not mapped onto the vehicle ecu. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

Pete has kindly emailed me to confirm that, which is a great relief.
It still gave me a fright though. |

TBH this is the first time in the last five years they seem to be doing 90% of the warranty work I have asked them to do without an argument. Might be because the first MOT is due in a month or so. |

When you program the engine management, it disappears from view, and other vehicle systems, such as the instrument pack, will notice its missing. This will of course log a fault code on the instrument pack, which the land rover diagnostic system would clear during a programming procedure. However, as per the example above, the BAS box will only clear fault codes logged on the engine management, and not any other vehicle systems.
There is a trail that the dealers can find easily, and there can't be many reasons as to why an engine management system would disappear from the loop, especially when it's electrical connectors are secured in place with a shear bolt. |

Of course .. it could be they were going to remap to latest LR spec and didnt want to wipe your personal remap.
Thats what my dealer said last time they mine "sorry sir, we normally check for personal mapping first" ..... luckily IRB replaced it for free [with a better map too] Guns and Landrovers .... anything else is irrelevant. |

I'd imagine they'd have a fair idea after a test drive.
