I can't do that with mine. Theres nothing under the little plastic cover. Is yours a standard radio or have you got an upgraded model? I noticed last year (when i removed it) that the build date sticker on the side of the radio was 2004. Typical LR. 130 crew cab

Unmarked Aux in 3.5mm stereo jack socket under auto button. It is in handbook but I never read them.

I knew about that one, i thought you could use the one under the cover. My ECU interferes with the radio reception quite badly so i'm probably going to change the radio anyway. By the way i never look at the manual until i've tried every button first or broken something. 130 crew cab

there are 2 radio versions - one with one without (well certainly in the UK)
There is also an ipod connection pack i understand to plug in the rear. The later MP3 radios are new so shouldnt be made before 06 Mike |

If you look at the LR fitting guide you'll see that the iPod connection pack is a radio re-transmitter that plugs in line with the aerial. Why didn't LR just put a better head unit? 110 2.4TDCi 110 300Tdi LROCV ::: AULRO.com |

I plugged my iPod into the stereo and could hardly hear anything. Turned up the volume to max and still terrible.
THEN someone pointed out that it might be an idea to turn the volume up on the ipod Doh ! |

Are you using the headphone socket to get the audio out of the iPod? |
