Is it not one of the pipes resonating? I forget which one now but there was a reroute or new pipe for early td5s.
It's a 2003 so not that early, but worth looking into - thanks.. |

If you are keeping one for emergency use (eg. overlanding), there's probably a few more steps you should take - copy the injector settings over etc.
