Have you considered any of the after market ones?
I used to have a Prospeed rack on my D4, and it was much more quiet - and lower - than the OEM rack for the Defender.

I drove a rental with 275/55R20 BFGoodrich Baja Champion, they rubbed at full lock in a u-turn, but that was the only time I noticed anything.

Anyone here know if the Thule t-track bolts (20x20mm) will fit the T-tracks on the Prospeed Expedition rack?
