How noisy is the roof rack?
Thinking about getting a roof rack, but not a big fan of wind noise. Also can’t decide if they look a bit weird on a 90. What do you think? For those that have one on a 90, let’s see a pic if you can.

Thanks
Col

Have you considered any of the after market ones?
I used to have a Prospeed rack on my D4, and it was much more quiet - and lower - than the OEM rack for the Defender.

The LR rack is noisy but ok. I’m going to get a deflector from the US for mine. Apparently it makes a huge difference.

I too will confirm the genuine rack is noisy, less so now it holds the roof top tent.

The Colorado Fairing Company front fairing cured the wind noise issue on my D110. It was pretty noisy before I installed it.

This is why I love enthusiast forums instead of social media.

This was one of the two main questions I had about my new Defender. How do I open the sunroof without having my eardrums be blown out... and I'm used to noisy cabins!!!

That CFC Fairing looks to be the ticket. Now if I could just get the DEFENDER script across it. Maybe that'd be too much.
