Ah well, truly shorted it. Had a word with Alpine and there is an internal fuse, soldered on the board.
Simple enough fix (for them), so off it goes to the repair guy. Cheaper than buying a new o ... |

Thanks - removing the plastic plate gave me enough room to get the aerial out.
Not thrilled with the Mr. Happy Shopper one I picked up at Halfords though, will have to get a better one, better than ... |

Turns out that the back door had shifted slightly, the upper left-hand corner wasn't even touching the seal anymore.

I generally use a 90-degree tip for rinsing the underside of the 110, the jet comes out more like a strong fan than a powerful jet...

I think mine were long 3/16 rivets so can easily be done with a rivit gun and any local bolt suppliers or even b and q should be able to supply rivets.
