Is it safe to tape it up and use the car while I wait for delivery of a replacement? Just down to the shops and back, no large journeys.

Drove home and when I wound my window down, the glass fell to the bottom of the door. Got home, took the panel off, and the two bolts that hold the window in, had fallen out.

| Mine shattered a couple of weeks ago. I just assumed I'd been going over speed humps too fast and the rear wheel was putting stress on the door/glass, Going a bit slower now. |
