If it is not actually getting up to temp, it is the sender or the guage. I had a bad earth on the temp gauge which made it look as though it were overheating. Engine wasn't even warm.

If it were me I would bleed the system just to be sure first, then....

Have you checked what the temp actuually is? Does it get hotter more quickly than you would expect?

I think you're refering to the "P38 short nose Wolf axle", which was used from 2002 onwards ? Smile

Possibly, I didn't think it was common to the P38 though. Aren't the A-Frames different?

I knew a lad who spent a similar amout replacing all the body panels on his $hitreon saxo with carbon fibre replicas.

Same carp engine gearbox etc, just a bit lighter!
