My experience was resolved by changing the battery in the fob.
I was sceptical that such an “advanced feature” would be part of the MY14 defender alarm, but apparently it is! |

My 90SW is running on the original Boosts and 235/85/16 Conti CrossContacts, but the rims are now badly corroded and the tyres approaching the end of their days. 95% on road use, they've done well.

Option 2, if the new hinges have the same bolt spacing as the originals then they will fit. They can however be quite tricky, especially if you're fitting them on your own.
