You can buy self adhesive neoprene - I have used it for things and would be great.

Right I am ashamed to say this but I was trying to fit it incorrectly Embarassed

I was fitting the brackets on the outside of the chassis rails instead of the inside - doh

They do have the fold but if I use the brackets with the folds facing inwards under the chassis then the bolt holes don't line up on the chassis. I can't see that they fit but they must do. It must be ...

I would in a flash if it wasn't so damn expensive to do so. I am thinking about selling my Defender as after an operation I now find the clutch/gears too difficult to use easily
