AUTO GEARBOX
Hi
any body out there have an auto box fitted to there puma engined defender? if so, and it uses a Powertrain Control Systems TCU, and you know how to read the settings from it, would you like to excahnge data files?
have been playing around with mine, and have made the gear changes slicker, smoother, and drives how i like it. Cheers

Well, from the lack opf response it looks like fitting an auto box is not of great interest on this forum...
I must say that as soon as the warranty is out, I'm doing an Ashcroft conversion (or maybe earlier even).

I would in a flash if it wasn't so damn expensive to do so. I am thinking about selling my Defender as after an operation I now find the clutch/gears too difficult to use easily 110 Hard top

Ashcroft Transmition does a nice autobox conversion using a compushift controller, ive not ever seen another controler used.
