| A very valid point Naks ! The clutch was indeed a big problem ..... then the gearbox, then the conversion plate then the transfer box then the props then the shafts etc, Hence I have been so long on ... |

Very good point, I suppose its just a 'very' much repaired chassis .... 
Lets see how it goes, if it ever stops raining I will get on with it ... but welding in the rain doesn't seem like a good ... |

I have just measured the cam lift on my 3.9 V8 engine whilst it is out to see if it is worn.
Here is the confusion...... the spec says .390 inch lift, about 10mm..
