If that is from opening the door it is just because of the lack of a gutter above the door. I suppose roof rails would reduce the amount of run-off.

| The slowness pulling away might be due to throttle settings which are set for off-roading so the first inch or so of pedal travel only produces a slight increase in engine speed. |
