It is not good practice to hold the steering wheel hard over on full lock ....you are making it groan!

I fitted an addition standard pipe up into under seat 90 diesel tank - but to get heater pump to suck we had to feed the nylon pipe down the pick up pipe. It would not draw up the metal pipe. |

Finding a plug in point is easiest answer, you can prepare for the worse if temp is -40c just leave engine engine running - if its -10c just take the chance.
