| Ebay is fed up of sending me ferrite cores, the Defender is full of them. If the weather is ok I am going to pull a fuse to see if it stops the noise and then work thro all the others too. |

Thank you custom90steve, tried it all and I have no LEDs as they are a known problem to ham equipment and they are not allowed in the house lol.

Hi, thank you for the reply, I not sure what to do at this point, a simple replacement radio with maybe some sort of converter plug would do, thank you for your advice.
