We have a Volvo 343 in the garage, once a fairly common sight

This is my daily…..(I don’t do many miles)

There are a couple of P38s locally but I don’t often see one when further afield.

Crackin’ thread

After a collection of performance Fords, I bought a Lotus Esprit S2 back in the late 80’s. As Captain Mainwaring would say “stupid boy.”

At that time you didn’t see many (hardly any) on the road - and there are good reasons for that!

In 30 odd years of looking I’ve probably only seen a handful.

I know mine isn’t still on the road as I see it daily covered in dust in the garage next to the Defender! There are similarities

Screbble that’s lovely. My Mum had an S3 Turbo in silver with red interior, proper late 80s colour combo. Great car when it worked. 😂

It even has its own self contained air supply in case of gas attack!!

I am disappointed that no one has mentioned the Lancia Y10 or White Hen as it was affectionately known!!

They can’t travel that far without their diagnostic computers and parts

Sorry working on them has scared me for life, sometimes I still have nightmares with the sounds of the beep beep beep beep beep dash fault buzzers

I think it is a legitimate re-shell if you use a brand new shell which has never been part of another vehicle. If it is a shell taken from something else, then your suspicion is probably spot on.

just come back in from work there, and i saw a Mk2 VW Scirocco on a H plate, which must be the last ones registered in 1990 /1991

Yeah same goes for the Sierra Cosworth, i wouldn't be surprised most of those would be ringers too.
