Foxwing on SD Cage
Anyone mounted a foxwing or similar to a SD external cage? Looking for ideas please. I am expecting to do some fabrication but I need to be able to remove it.

It is not going to help you but I have my awning fixed to the underneath of the SD roof rack. Works a treat as it pushes the awning out enough to clear the curve of the roof.
If I were fixing to the tubes of the cage I would use the SD clamps as they really fix well to the tubes, whereas the roof tent ones are not designed to cope with something hanging off them. I would be concerned they would slip on the tubes.

Sorted now.
I picked up a JB roof tent (Facebook bargain, 700 notes and unused) so decided to work out something to mount them both on.
Used the SD clamps I had lying around (can't even remember where they came from), a recycled set of Van Guard roof bars, a commercial chopping board and a handful of stainless fasteners.
