Dogging lights and a spoiler are just what a Grenadier needs, said no one, ever.

My understanding is it needs to have 1 tonne payload (like the old Def USW) if it has 5 seats to qualify for van classification BIK calculations. The Grenadier is too heavy so has a maximum 831kg. Otherwise, it will get taxed as a car and be subject to a very large BIK. |

Just in case anyone was under the impression that these would mostly be bought by farmers, utility companies and adventurers, I think it's safe to say the majority will be blocking the streets of London and lanes of Cheshire along with new Defs, old Defs and Gs. https://instagram.com/bentheoandrews |

Of course you are right Ben. They may of course all be adventurers at heart.
I regret cancelling my initial deposit when the revised pricing came out, but I'm now thinking v0.2 might be a better bet, once any real world niggles have been ironed out. I like the look of it, I like the engines (would go petrol) and if viewed as a vehicle to keep long term then the cost is slightly more palatable. |

To be fair where i live now there’s about 4 twin cab pick up trucks they have never seen a drop of mud let alone a field, my l322 has seen more field work than all of them combined. |

Seeing plenty of Grenadiers at county/country shows, their stands are always busier than the Land Rover stands, it seems to be resonating with plenty of people, although does it results in orders?time will tell Jumped ship to reliability - Mitsubishi L200

I was trundling down the A59 nr Clitheroe and spotted an Ineos “dealership or reseller….whatever they’re calling them and they had probably 5 or 6 sat on their forecourt. Looked great, thought I’d go online and spec one……£74k later and I’m aghast at the price! I’m really not sure who the target market are for these.

Lets face it second hand defenders (original) will be around for a very long time and there will be no shortage of them.
So unless you have to have a new utility vehicle (why) you can have a proper one and the money to bring it back to new spec, to run it for the next 20 years and still have change from the cost of the new ones attempting (and failing) to replace the D4. |
