Yup as above. You can get to it through the headlamp hole. Might be a good time to upgrade to the Optimill washer pump and nozzle upgrade

Thanks guys figured as much, when I was checking to work out where the problem was I had it all apart to access the power connectors, gave the pump a yank but at that point but wasn’t for budging. I’ll give it more wellie this time.
Optimill - yes very tempting, but wow what a price! I went for an OEM one from rimmer bros for £8, yeah that’s going to do fine ![]() |

If you haven’t done so already, replace, or better still remove, the non-return valve in the pipe 👍

There is a rubber grommets pushed into the fluid bottle that the pump pushes into. When it's cold it's hard and tough. Try and flush the bottle out when all stripped. As other have said, renew the no return valve - they get clogged. The rear washer jet non return was in the headlining in mine. 2009 Defender 90 CSW 2.4 TDCI.
