All entrants (to date) were told they’d be emailed by today with details of the event. I understand no such emails have been sent out.
It appears to be one man organising the whole shooting match which I’d say is unrealistic particularly when there’s supposed to be 100 food/trade stands on site, and Guinness World Records in attendance. There’s no website even! I hope to god it all comes good because I believe there’s a number travelling from overseas. |

There has been a lot of activity on the facebook group for this event today - quite a bit got deleted for some reason......
The organiser has now moved the date forwards for supplying all details to entrants to the end of March now! I still think its going to end in tears, and with some people sadly out of pocket. Euro-Leafing to infinity and beyond..... |

So, this event happened today...
The "Hundreds" of traders turned out to be 3 or 4. And the GWR was not beaten - 400 cars were present. Still, if every one of those cars has paid £110 to enter and £28 to join the GWR queue that's a very reasonable profit for a man convicted of fraud who's done actual jail time. Most of his cons consisted of a small amount of money invested and then repaid back with profit. Then convinced to invent more, that you never see again. I wonder if the next event will follow the same format. |
