fantastic, thanks - just another quick question - wondering about Avon Rangemasters - these are what I had originally, but they've proved hard to get. I know they're a bit old fashioned, but compared to the G90s on (wet) tarmac, say, an improvement?

A Rangemaster is preferable to a G90 (almost anything is, to be honest), and is probably more road-biased than an XZL.
