The Land Rover hazard switch is part number YUF101490
Lucas 30771 (152SA), although similar looking, is not listed as an alternative to YUF101490 So, I would guess that it isn't wired the same. . Paul. 1989 Arles Blue 2.5TD 110 Hardtop 1999 Epsom Green Discovery II 4.0 V8i 'XS' Last edited by PaulMc on 23rd Mar 2023 5:34pm. Edited 1 time in total |

Have you got the pin numbers correct
This drawing shows the rear of the connector, which corresponds with looking at the rear of the switch - The wiring should be, as below - . Paul. 1989 Arles Blue 2.5TD 110 Hardtop 1999 Epsom Green Discovery II 4.0 V8i 'XS' |

Can you jump 7 and 8 to see if the switch is faulty? If it all works as it should you know it's a switch issue, no?

I’ve seen this before, the similar looking switch for a Mini is wired differently inside and doesn’t work! 1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top
