I have an 07 XS Double cab and the canopy on the rear has all the rope fixings on the back to close it.
Last night I followed a 57 and 08 plate which both seemed to have a different style canopy with no ropes and what I presume are hidden zips? to close it Has anyone got one of these and are they better - it certainly looks a quicker way of closing the rear canopy than having to sort the ropes each time?? |

Cheers Zinke, that is what I am starting to call my abortion. it is still sat at the dealer as it isn't much of what I ordered (I have another post about it on here). It is a 110 DCPU XS in Galway green. I have forked out just over £20K for her but am working on getting money back because they painted it the wrong colour. Glyn |

Looks pretty good to me too...
I understand your frustration of ordering/expecting one colour and getting another, but - one green v. a slightly darker green - once it has some dirt on you won't tell the difference! I'd check the rest of it first before rejecting - you never know - it might be a good 'un! |

Thats bad ordering one colour and getting another I had the same problem with my Audi A5 i ordered black leather and it turned up with cream leather i spat the dummy out and 3 days later they found another car with the right colour but over 4K of extras for no extra cost
Colour is a major part of the vehicle you should have what you ordered and nothing less |

She is nice, but now it is more about the dealer I am dealing with and his lack of respect. When I pointed out the colour change his attitude wasn't of concern but more of 'who cares' and not even an offer of compensation. So at the moment I am looking at rejecting the car (now second hand) and then ordering another, just to screw him over.
After looking at all the colours I would say on an average day Stornoway grey would be a closer match to Tonga green than Galway green. Glyn |

Glyn
The Double Cab look good in Stornoway grey, I see one on my way to work a couple of times a week. I made enquires from a second dealer about one as a 'standby' incase my current dealer screws up again but he could not give me a delivery date, all he could tell me is that it would be months. Bob |

£20k sounds cheap for a XS? Was that with a trade in or are they just doing some really good discounts these days? If you do reject it give the dealer my details as its exactly what i want!
