My speedo stopped and went into limp mode and it was just a bad connection on the sensor on the back of the transfer box, went to this first as it had had a new clutch fitted not long before.
If you've checked the connection, my guess would be a failed sensor. HTH Keith |

Carl,
Have you checked for continuity between the sense wire at the sensor, and speedo cluster, and are you absolutely sure the three wires at the sensor are in the correct order. If you think the 3 pin plug is corroded at these sensor, then it is the same as a stop/tail light plug, which are easily available as well. The sensor is only held in place with an 8mm small bolt and can be removed easily. If you spin the end that goes into the box, you should get some sort of reading between earth and sense wire, I think itโs just a pulse but I might be wrong. Good luck with the fix, Ashby Andy ๐ |
