5th GEAR PROBLEM
Any ideas on the likely problem?
An issue with the upshift from 4th to 5th and worse still, the down shift from 6th to 5th. A slight crunch on the upshift but if I let the revs drop it can be done without incident. Not so on the downshift which is a big crunch. I shift 6th to 4th to avoid making things worse.
Information. The clutch is new and the gearbox oil has been replaced. All other gear changes are perfect. This gearbox was working like a dream till recently.

Sounds like it may be your synchro hub for 5th gear. Sad
