While endulging myself yesterday with the 2nd row seat floor, I realized the aluminum behind de seat mount has corroded away. Therefore had to be added to the to-do list (which at the moment is not getting shorter)...
lrworkshop points to part 8 as a replacement, which unfortunately costs a pretty penny... Click image to enlarge I naturally started looking for alternatives and noted that YRM is also offering some interesting solutions - but given their product IDs are different, its not easy to know which would fit the best. the full kit is: https://yrmit.co.uk/product/rear-body-floo...er-110-sw/ but given that my trunk floor is mostly decent, I was wondering if I truely need to replace everything and if I could not just get the front part where the seats are mounted? I noted they have this one: https://yrmit.co.uk/product/2nd-row-footwe...or-5-door/ Click image to enlarge I'm just not sure if its the right one for the station wagon setup. Also based on the pictures I see that there are no holes predrilled? Would much appreciate your insights how to fixed this alu-misshap thanks Doruk Td5 110 Station |

If you look on the YRM workshop section of the site there is a step by step of replacing the crossmember below that part and that section of floor you posted.
Is it the vertical section which has corroded or the top section? You would drill all of the holes to suit your vehicle. Steve 02' 110 TD5 Double Cab Rebuild Thread |

If it is just the vertical face then I would just swap this part over:
https://yrmit.co.uk/product/2nd-row-footwe...eries-lwb/ Bear in mind that it would be an ideal time to also replace the mid-body x-member behind (if it hasnt already been replaced) as they are usually in poor condition and without this panel in place fitment is dead easy: https://yrmit.co.uk/product/110-mid-crossm...-defender/ Steve 02' 110 TD5 Double Cab Rebuild Thread |

Thanks for the pointer, the reason why I ended up with this problem, was actually the mid cross member, as I need to replace it.
to get the floor pannel out easier, I started screwing off the mounts and then the dead aluminium showed itself. The C post sections are already laying around in the workshop and will be replaced as well Td5 110 Station |

Have been in exactly that situation myself previously. I ended up just temporarily patching the damaged areas at the time but replacing that section is a much better solution. Cheers, Steve 02' 110 TD5 Double Cab Rebuild Thread |

My Doublecab was in a very similar state, the job escalated for me to a sort of "restoration / refurb /upgrade ..... I currently have the front axle out! 😂 😂

You often find that when you need to change your rear seat mounts, the front axle will need changing also.
