Electric windows were only an option from 2002 onwards so definitely a no for those if it’s before then. If after then potentially but unlikely as the main loom has to have it built in at manufacture.
Rear wiper would depend on the original specification. A hard top or station wagon would have the wiring, a truck cab or rag top potentially not depending on which box they took the loom out of in the factory that day. |

On my 2002 110 DCPU behind the centre console there are surprisingly many unused plugs. I ID'd them all at some point and yes they are rear screen heaters etc connectors which would only be applicable to a station wagon. Probably the easiest way to start.
I find there can also be plugs hanging loose where a section is missing. I have a rear speaker plug hanging in the engine room bay, where clearly the parts that goes to the back is not installed. Central locking and electric windows are separate looms that extend into the doors. I have neither and definitely no wiring going into my doors. You can buy those looms for reasonable prices as aftermarket parts like on LRPARTS etc. |

I’m looking at a 54 plate TD5 hardtop, but it is very basic with only a heated rear screen. If the wiring is in place to fit a rear wiper etc it’s something I would definitely consider doing.

I think on the Td5s the rear wiper wiring was in all the looms, unlike the earlier ones where it was an overlay loom from the factory. 1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

My bog standard 2002 DCPU (facelifted dash) had the looms for the heated rear window and rear wash/wipe installed to the rear. Front wing looms had connectors for the rear washer motor, BBUS and headlight levelling. The bulkhead loom did not have the wiring for rear speakers. Wiring for the passive immobilizer coil was installed but the passive coil was not. I vaguely recall the left hand speaker was a dummy one too but I might be remembering that wrongly.
Roof loom had only the wiring for the front interior light, no wiring for alarm volumetric sensor. None of the wiring, connectors or relay for heated seats, heated windscreen, electric windows or central locking were fitted as these were all spec dependent.
