New Defender - heated seats question
Wahoo. I have a new(ish) 110 and am trying to work everything out. There surprisingly don't seem to be any heated seats and they aren't on the build sheet although the seats are electrically adjustable.
Does anyone know if it's possible to somehow retrofit the heating option?
Here's a few pics including the labels underneath as I'm wondering if the seats are the heated type but due to the semiconductor shortage, they basically weren't wired in (ok, I know that's a really bad explanation but you know what I mean).

They may not be fitted because of your market’s spec requirements. I’ve seen on other forums comments that in many hot climate countries you don’t get heated seats. It wouldn’t surprise me if you do have them fitted up but just not connected/ wired in as with many of the options like adaptive cruise control - everything is there but it is not enabled Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

I didn’t know you could get them without heated seats. Even my base spec has them, so perhaps the heating elements are in there?

OP is showing a location of Israel and an LHD vehicle - maybe JLR thinks that there is no need to have heated seats in that market Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come

Heated seats are part of the "cold climate pack" (heated seats, screen, steering wheel, and washer jets)

lt seems to be standard on most versions, but maybe not vehicles sold in hot climates. l got it on my base spec Commercial because l ordered the leather steering wheel, and l am glad l did if only for the heated screen.

The base spec here has 14 way memory seats with heating so they should be there in theory although the build sheet says not. I'm thinking semiconductor shortage.

Lightening . Heated seats are not part of the cold climate pack, only heated washer jet, headlamp washers and heated steering wheel, if not fitted as standard. In my case it was only the washers as the heated steering wheel was standard. 110 XS 250 MY 23 Gondwana Stone, Cold climate pack and towbar
