Camping / Sleeping in P400e?

Hi guys - Wondering how practical it is to sleep / camp in the p400e?

My ideal is to sleep in the back of the P400E, but obviously with the raised boot floor is this practically possible? I'm guessing with a blow-up mattress in the back it may cushion the raised area slightly. Is this possible?

Alternative option - Fill the boot and get a roof tent. Probably more practical... In this case, does anyone have any pictures of the P400E boot with a boot liner that (at least partially) fits well?

Pics etc would be great?

Best car I’ve ever slept in!

The slightly raised boot floor isn’t a big problem, I just got 2 ‘pieces’ of mattress foam, one thicker than the other - the thicker bit goes over the folded second row seats and the thinner bit in the boot.

Sliding the front seats forwards gives you a full 190cm length and I cut a notch into the foam which locates nicely on the upright part of the middle row seats when folded.

The P400e is ace because you can use the heater and stuff without running your engine 👍

That’s my preferred option David. You should have seen the looks in the dealership as I tried the length of the boot space with me stretched out. It certainly made the RR suits look a tad confused.

Is this a custom-built matress?

Nope just bought generic foam mattress pieces (2 pieces which combine to give 130x190cm from memory) and trimmed to shape - wasn’t too hard at all. I’ve then got a fitted sheet which works quite nicely tucked underneath. Cheers, David
