Indeed. I’ve tracked my MPG for 250,000 miles and it’s a very useful measure to have.

With my Global Roamerdrive I regularly get 8-10 Litres used per 100 KM. (Thats at least 30MPG).
Also totally agree knowing your usual mileage is very useful. Attached is my consumption tracker for my standard 2000 TD5 90. Mostly a good mix of urban and motorway. The dips in the graph, or increases in consumption are where I towed our caravan.
27 to 29 MPG typical. 24 ish with the caravan. Click image to enlarge |

I get anywhere between 26-30 mpg. For a 90 hardtop td5.
I tried really hard once to get it higher, but it made no difference. I don’t tend to check very often now. 2002 td5 90 county hardtop |
