Having just put a deposit down on a poptop conversion, I have gathered together all the information from another thread that was very helpful for me, so I hope it'll help others who are considering a poptop.
Please let me know of any additions or corrections and I will keep this first post up to date. If this post is useful perhaps it could be turned into a sticky? Hi,
as life always moves on, I'd like to highlight there is an update required to the Drivelodge conversion and where it sits within the headings. Currently it's listed as no integrated bed, whereas there are a couple of integrated bed solutions: the basic plank option available from Drivelodge, or a single pull down down variant supplied by LR Bits. Hopefully you can incorporate this updated info into the comprehensive table as the Drivelodge version is one that is in reach of many more people given its cost is comparable to a good roof tent & roof rack solution. |

Could you add AW4x4 to the list? There's been some positive comment about them elsewhere on the forum.

Will do - is it a totally new roof, or does it reuse the existing roof? TD5 hardtop to Puma inspired Poptop - my build thread
