I’ve just replied to your other post, this is the connector for the reverse switch, left hand side of gearbox.

So do I tap into the green or grey wire ?

The wires are GN (green with brown trace) and GY (green with yellow trace). You want the green and brown wire as that will become live when the vehicle is in reverse and the reverse switch is closed.

did you end up tapping into those wires? How did you get to them?

No the camera had an additional wire that was spare and ran with the jack lead, I connected the reverse signs feed to it on the head unit , then at camera end cut it and spliced into the reverse light live .

That's what I was thinking too, quick question, does the camera have a delay function or the screen constantly turns off while parking and shifting from reverse to first gear?

Just switches on/off when reverse is selected
