Good idea! We could all bring our grilles and have a communal polish! (Have we left the subject of polishing now then?) Dorchester/Yeovil perhaps or if there was enough notice I could tie it in with a visit to my kids! (They live Burnham On Mud). If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

What polish
Masons Arms at Oddcombe (provided the D3 mob are not there ) is a great pub, has it's own micro brewery and excellent food. 2 miles north of Yeovil. If you use the A3088 (Cartgate Link) out of Yeovil it is about a mile off the main road. Bob |

They look fantastic. No polish for me though - mine will be painted black.

Nah, not my style. It's either going to be something like Brunel grey, if I can find a reaonable match in Halfords, or satin black. Gotta prime it first though. Sold to the 'Knowledgable One' in Italy! As a footnote was in my local dealers today and it seems the new Defenders have what look like stainless headlamp retaining rings and they've started painting the intercooler grilles the same finish as the rest of the vehicle! Bet the grilles still won't 'withstand the test of time' paint or no paint!
'Brushed' is good..'Polished' is better.....razzle dazzle! If anybody else would like one 'pm' me, I will need to order a batch so it may be some time dependant on numbers!
