lf you like the standard white steel wheels, you can get a bargain spare set because many owners take them straight off after they buy the vehicle.
There's a few sets of five on Ebay and a couple on here, priced at £6-700 for the set. That's five new tyres (normally £900) with new wheels thrown in, for under £700. Worth putting a set in the garage. When you need new tyres, you can just change the wheels, saving the issue of taking the vehicle to a tyre fitter and paying for wheel balancing etc. Then you could either sell the wheels you take off for whatever they make on Ebay or even get Winter tyres out on them. |
