Last months LRO mag' said the 2012 MY would be available from November.

Received an email from my local LR dealer yesterday afternoon!

My new 90 Td4 MY12 will in all probability be delivered to me beginning of November!!! Razz Thumbs Up

My as yet unordered 110UW has been told by various places that it will be Dec delivery if I ordered. How true that is and how much was just to get a sale I don't know.

According to my LR dealer my 90 SW MY12 (ordered in June) should arrive here on Thursday/Friday THIS week! If everything works out as scheduled I will get it next week Wednesday!!!

Less than one week to reassemble the ikea diy kit? doesnt sound reasonable, usually it takes up to three weeks to finally built a defender at the dealers ... Never forget: cars have owner, Landrover have field service personnel.

If delivery works out to be next year, would you wait to register it on the 1st March for the 2012 plate? Be nice to have a MY2012 on a 12 plate. Or will it make feck all difference to resale value?

Will make the resale value slightly higher. You can prove you didn't run it through the winter as by March most of the salting and gritting should have gone.

Personally if mine comes in Feb I'd opt to get it in March. For the sake of 4 weeks I'd prefer the 12 plate as there is no advantage of a 61 plate other than I get it 4 weeks earlier.

I have a 130 on order opted to wait until 1st March for 12 plate did not see point in having delivered in Feb. Dealers will say it makes no difference when selling but i bet will say opposite when buying back.
